Okay, fine. You caught us. We're not the real Abe Kislevitz—although we totally know the guy. The thing is, Abe is our first fan, so we decided to dedicate this project to him.
Welcome to Abe Kislevitz. Here is where you'll find some epic chiptoon jams and video game music. Brought to you by a mild-mannered photographer, a spunky graphic designer, a rancorous accountant, and a flashlight named Joe.
Played it as a kid- laughed at the fart jokes.
Played it as a young adult- had to stop at this scene to think about life. Also laughed at the fart jokes.
I love this game. Thank you, Itoi-san.
Allow me to go on a bit of a rant here- I don’t know where exactly my passion for 8bit and chiptunes stems from. Sure I played NES and SNES growing up, but I never really tried to absorb myself into it as much as I have in the past few years. There is something inherently appealing about the world of 8bit that I think even if I hadn’t experienced it growing up, I would still find myself intrigued by what was created with these machines. It’s like when worlds are deconstructed into 8bits, every bit just means that much more. I wonder what the future holds for 8bit artists. I wonder if those who worked on creating the 2A03 chip realize what impact it would have on us. Enough psuedo-philosphicalness, let’s dance.
it’s a whole new world~

Kids these days have no respect for the veterans of the Alien Wars. 16-bit war is hell.

Sounds like the kind of chip music that would play for the photoshop cs5 crack. Not that I know what kind of music plays when cracking programs. Shit.
